Elective Equivalency Lectures for MBKM Equivalency

Kegiatan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) activities carried out outside the campus can be equated to course grades that have outputs in accordance with the activities carried out. For general MBKM activities, there are several elective courses in the study program that can be used as "containers" for equivalency. The assessment of these elective courses is carried out based on the achievement of student outcomes / graduate learning outcomes (SO / CPL) for the Bachelor of Food Engineering that have been determined for the elective course. CPL for Bachelor of Food Engineering are:

  1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
  2. An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
  3. An ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
  4. An ability to recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgments, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
  5. An ability to function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.
  6. An ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
  7. An ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.

The following are elective courses in the program that can be used for MBKM activity equivalency:

  1. PG4041 Program Merdeka Belajar A (3 credits) and PG4042 Program Merdeka Belajar B (3 credits)
Mandatory output: CPL 1 (Ability to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems by applying mathematical knowledge, scientific knowledge and engineering knowledge)
Other outputs: One of CPL 2-7 according to the activities
  2. PG4043 Program Merdeka Belajar C (3 credits)
Mandatory output: CPL 2 (Ability to design systems, components or processes to meet needs faced with real constraints by considering the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and social context).
Other outputs: One of CPL 1 and 3-7 according to the activities
  3. PG4044 Program Merdeka Belajar D (2 credits) and PG4045 Program Merdeka Belajar E (2 credits)
Mandatory output: CPL 4 (Ability to recognize professional and ethical responsibilities in addressing engineering problems and making informed decisions, considering the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and social context)
Other outputs: One of CPL 1-3 and 5-7 according to the activities
  4. PG4046 Program Merdeka Belajar F (2 credits)
Mandatory output: CPL 6 (Ability to design and implement experiments, analyze and interpret data, and use technical considerations to draw conclusions).
Other outputs: One of CPL 1-5 and 7 according to the activity
  5. PG4047 Program Merdeka Belajar G (1 credit)
Output: Two CPLs among CPLs 1-7 according to the activities
